DbInsertHelper 1.0 freeware description:
This Visual Studio Addin allows the user to select from different Microsoft SQL Server databases and then generate and insert text into the current Visual Studio active document. This text will most likely be code but could very easily be anything for which there is a template to use.
This Visual Studio Addin installation comes with templates to insert code that is matched to Stored Procedures residing on a Microsoft SQL Server database. The Stored Procedure is selected from the list of Stored Procedures that correspond to the database identified by a connection string. The list of Stored Procedures can be filtered by entering in text into the filter text box.
Once there is a selection of the database and a selection of a Stored Procedure then the user can select the template to use to generate the code they need. The Addin is installed with templates for executing non-query, DataReader, and Datasets using either the "standard" .NET libraries or the Microsoft Enterprise Libraries (See: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa480453.aspx).
Adding and removing items is accomplished with context menus (right click).
